Scarlett Johansson - American Actress and Singer (born in the city of New York on the 22nd of November 1984) The versatility of her work as an actress has brought her much acclaim for her work in dramas from the past, to thrillers and even adventures. Johansson daughter of an architect as well as a producer was raised within New York City. Hunter, her twin brother, and she were the youngest of four kids. As a child she was able to begin performing. In fact, by seven, she had already auditioned for commercials in a variety of different ways. Johansson was later seen as a character in Just Cause (1995), but her first break was with Manny & Lo a coming of age drama about sisters running away. The Horse Whisperer (1998), in which Johansson plays an teen girl who has disfigurement, was hailed by reviewers. In the following years, she gained fame for her role as the cynical teenage Rebecca in Ghost World.
