Dina Meyer is a New York native who was born in Forest Hills Queens. She relocated from Queens to Dix Hills Long Island just after she completed her junior high. Her siblings include one of whom is older, named Gregory as well as a younger sibling named Evan. Her first experience in the industry of entertainment was in the form of modeling from ages nine to sixteen. She started her acting training in The Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, where she studied Sanford Meisner's acting techniques, in conjunction with Ron Stetson, for about three years. Sandra Bullock and Michael Douglas were among other actors that received this education. The first role she acted in was with Beverly Hills 90210. This meant she had to move out in Los Angeles. After landing the lead role on Johnny Mnemonic where she did most of the stunts on her own, she established herself as an actress that is athletic. In addition to Matt LeBlanc's agency for talent and agent, she was also involved in a range of roles that recurred in the show Friends.
